The victory was just what Orangewood Christian needed coming off of a 76-42 loss in their prior contest.
Orangewood Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Ben Barber led the charge by scoring 17 points. Roby McClarnon was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.
Orangewood Christian's win bumped their record up to 7-16. As for International Community, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-18.
Orangewood Christian's road trip will continue as they head out to face Orlando Christian Prep on February 8th. Orlando Christian Prep presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Orangewood Christian in Florida (Orlando Christian Prep is ranked 17th, while Orangewood Christian is ranked 633rd). As for International Community, they will face off against Tournament Opponent at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
