Unity Christian Academy stacked a 12th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Morgan Park Academy 84-46 on the road. With Unity Christian Academy ahead 49-29 at the half, the game was all but over already.
Unity Christian Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jeremiah Johns, who almost dropped a triple-double on 18 points, 16 rebounds, and nine assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Johns has scored all season. Donovan O'Neil was another key contributor, scoring 21 points along with seven assists and six rebounds.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 72-42, which was the final score in Valeo Academy's tilt against Round Lake on Thursday. Valeo Academy has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Unity Christian Academy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 13 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 14-7 record this season. As for Valeo Academy, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
