At the plate, the team relied heavily on Luciana Moreno, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 4-for-4. Those four hits gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Reagan Hunley, who scored three runs while going 3-for-3.

Fiona Dettmann made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI. That RBI marked the first that she brought in this season.
Sun Prairie West's victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 4-3. As for Madison West, their loss dropped their record down to 0-5.
Madison West's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Sun Prairie West hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .393. It's a different story for Madison West, though, as they've only averaged .175. Will they be able to contain Sun Prairie West's hitters?
