The Northeast Eagles's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their seventh straight loss. They lost to Arundel at home by a decisive 52-33 margin. Despite the loss, Northeast still got an impressive performance from Julia Fox, who scored 14 points along with two blocks. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Fox has scored all season.
Northeast's loss dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Arundel, their win ended a 12-game drought on the road and puts them at 1-10.
Northeast and Chesapeake will face off at 5:00 p.m. on January 26th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Chesapeake presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Northeast in Maryland (Chesapeake is ranked 90th, while Northeast is ranked 226th). As for Arundel, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Severna Park at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
