Given East Hickman County's advantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 72nd, while Community is ranked 256th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Cheatham County Central's win bumped their record up to 18-2. As for East Hickman County, their win bumped their record up to 12-5.
Cheatham County Central was able to grind out a solid victory over East Hickman County in their previous meeting on January 5th, winning 57-45. The rematch might be a little tougher for Cheatham County Central since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
