The Walhalla Razorbacks will head out on the road to face off against the Travelers Rest Devildogs at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Even though Pendleton scored an imposing 68 points on Tuesday, Walhalla still came out on top. Walhalla walked away with a 75-68 victory over Pendleton. The win was just what Walhalla needed coming off of a 75-47 defeat in their prior contest.
Walhalla found their leader in underclassman Jack Williams, who scored 26 points along with eight assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Williams has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Tyler Lusk, who scored 14 points.
Meanwhile, Travelers Rest waltzed into their match on Thursday with three straight wins but they left with four. They had just enough and edged Blue Ridge out 57-55. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Walhalla is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 9-13 record this season. As for Travelers Rest, they now have a winning record of 13-12.
Walhalla was taken down by Travelers Rest 80-39 in their previous meeting back in February of 2022. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point Walhalla was down 39-10.
