The Centennial Huskies earned  a  13-6 win over the Poly Bears  on Saturday.
 Centennial didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of  Demia Swanson and  Darby Shannon. Another thorn in Poly's side was  Jaylene Sangenito, who picked up  four  sacks and made five total tackles.
Centennial's victory bumped their record up to 13-14. As for Poly, their defeat  ended  a  four-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 14-9.
 Coincidentally, Centennial and Poly will both be playing Roosevelt the next time they take the field. The Huskies will head out to face the Mustangs at 4:30  p.m.  on Monday, while the Bears will play them later in the day, at 5:30  p.m.
