Jace Casses and Luke Repko were among the main playmakers for Bishop Carroll as the former scored 24 points along with five steals and the latter scored 23 points along with nine steals. The game was Casses' sixth in a row with at least ten points. Will Tremel was another key contributor, scoring six points along with six rebounds and five assists.
Meanwhile, Ligonier Valley's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their sixth straight loss. They were beaten by Westmont Hilltop 91-30. Ligonier Valley was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 55-17.
Bishop Carroll's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Ligonier Valley, their loss was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 1-7.
