Lake Creek's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 5-0 margin over College Station. Considering the Lions have won 12 games by more than four goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, after low-scoring totals in their previous five contests, Brenham brought some dynamite into their most recent contest. They blew past Rudder 5-1 on Tuesday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Cubs as it put an end to their five-game losing streak.

Lake Creek has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up four goals over those nine games. The win got Brenham back to even at 11-11.
