Belle is 2-8 against Bourbon since December of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Belle Tigers will head out on the road to face off against the Bourbon War Hawks at 5:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Thursday, Belle came up short against Linn and fell 54-44. Belle has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Meanwhile, Bourbon's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their third straight loss. They took a 53-44 hit to the loss column at the hands of New Haven.
Belle now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Bourbon, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-5.
Belle couldn't quite finish off Bourbon in their previous matchup back in January and fell 64-62. Can Belle avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
