Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Bacon Academy walked away with it. They claimed a resounding 64-30 win over the Wilcox RVT Wildcats. The Bobcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 13 contests by 25 points or more this season.

Katelyn Novak was her usual excellent self, going 10-for-22 en route to 27 points. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 16.5 points per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Kayleigh Engle, who posted 12 points along with seven assists and four steals.

Bacon Academy was working as a unit and finished the game with 20 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Bacon Academy pushed their record up to 23-2 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 27.6 points on average over those games. As for Wilcox RVT, with the defeat, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 16-4.

Bacon Academy has already played their next game, a 63-30 win against Seymour on the 10th. Wilcox RVT does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
