The Madison Trojans won the last time they faced the Onsted Wildcats, and things went their way on Friday too. Madison came out on top against Onsted by a score of 36-28. The win made it back-to-back wins for Madison.
Karlie Kimerer and Maddie Borders certainly did their best on Friday to try and avoid the loss. Kimerer scored nine points along with five rebounds, while Borders scored four points. Kimerer scored a full 32.1% of Onsted's points, the third time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Madison's victory ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-0. As for Onsted, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.
Madison will be home for the holidays to greet Tecumseh at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Onsted will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against Napoleon at 7:00 p.m. on December 21st.
