Ace Monihen Has Career-Day on Friday
Starting off the list is Council Grove's Ace Monihen, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. On Friday Monihen rushed for 200 yards and four touchdowns on only ten carries, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. His longest rush was for an impressive 57 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.

Osage City pushed their record up to 6-0 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Parsons and Osage City will face off against Silver Lake at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Mission Valley had to settle for second on Friday, but Porter Deters sure wasn't going down easily. Nobody could stop Deters as he rushed for 139 yards and a touchdown on only 15 carries, and also threw for 143 yards and a touchdown. His longest rush was for an impressive 67 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.
