Cooper Bierman posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Friday. As a matter of fact, he produced his best game of the campaign: he struck out seven batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. He has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than one earned run in five consecutive appearances.
