For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last five times Athens and Bellevue have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Thursday. The Indians came out on top against the Broncos by a score of 8-4. The Indians have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Broncos, too.

Athens' victory bumped their record up to 2-6. As for Bellevue, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 0-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Athens will welcome Climax-Scotts at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bellevue, they will host Central at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
