Pretty Prairie led Heart of the Plains (8 Man) in scoring this week after putting up 52 points on Norwich.
Skyline made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 606 from 697. The improvement was the result of a 44-38 victory over Otis-Bison last week.
Jacob Norris threw for 260 yards and 4 touchdowns. He went 16-37 with 2 interceptions.
Ethan Johnson was the most successful running back in the league this week. In 26 carries, he ran for 126 yards as Stafford lost to the Bulldogs. Tristin Paulsen also contributed to the rushing game with 75 yards on the ground.
Leading the league in both passing and receiving yards, Norwich's Norris and Lohrman have proven to be a lethal combination. Norris has thrown for 884 yards this season, while Lohrman, a 5-foot-9 receiver, has 24 catches for 496 yards. The Thunderbirds' Dustin Weber leads the league in rushing yards with 598.
A big matchup in Heart of the Plains (8 Man) this week will be when Fairfield takes on Skyline. The Falcons are in first place, while Jon Novotny's team is in fourth place.
