Brennan hadn't done well against Stevens recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Bears never let the Falcons get on the board and left with an 8-0 victory. Considering the Bears have won seven games by more than six runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Brennan is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-7 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.3 runs over those games. As for Stevens, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-12.

Brennan will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Falcons: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:45 p.m. on Friday.
