The Western Tech & Environmental Science Wolverines were the 65-42 winner over the Manchester Valley Mavericks when they last played one another back in January of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Western Tech & Environmental Science fell just short of Manchester Valley by a score of 46-44.
Manchester Valley was led to victory by Carter Strohman and William Cuneo. Strohman scored 19 points, while Cuneo scored 15 points along with five rebounds and two steals. Colton Enderle was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
Western Tech & Environmental Science's loss dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Manchester Valley, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-7.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Western Tech & Environmental Science will take on Kenwood at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Kenwood is coming into the game with four straight victories on the road, meaning Western Tech & Environmental Science will have to defend against a squad hungry for a victory. As for Manchester Valley, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Harford Tech at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Manchester Valley focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up eight on Monday.
