Hatch Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight  defeat. They lost to the Chaparral Lobos on the road  by a   52-38 margin. The Bears were not able to make up for their  loss to the Lobos from their previous meeting  back in January.
Hatch Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Chaparral,  with the  victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-7.
 Hatch Valley will be home for the holidays to greet Mesilla Valley Christian School  at 6:30  p.m.  on Friday. Mesilla Valley Christian School will roll in looking for their  fifth straight  win, something Hatch Valley surely won't give up without a fight. As for Chaparral, they will venture away from home to  challenge Riverside  at 3:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Chaparral has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
