The Frazier Commodores's game last Tuesday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They came out on top against Bethlehem Center by a score of 59-49. This was payback for Frazier, who suffered a 63-61 loss the last time these two teams met.
Frazier's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Dailan Mcmanus led the charge by scoring 24 points along with two steals. Mcmanus has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times he's played. Another player making a difference was Brock Alekson, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 19 rebounds.
Bethlehem Center lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Jason Zellie, who scored 13 points along with three steals. Parker Amos was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with five rebounds.
The victory got Frazier back to even at 11-11. As for Bethlehem Center, they have not been sharp recently as the team has lost nine of their last 12 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-15 record this season.
Frazier will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Greensburg Central Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Greensburg Central Catholic will roll in looking for their 12th straight win, something Frazier surely won't give up without a fight. Bethlehem Center does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
