Peyton Steele posted a new career-high in runs on Monday. He scored four runs and stole Two bases. while going 2-for-3. He is becoming a predictor of Midway's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is undefeated (and 0-5 when he doesn't).

Steele's strong effort led Midway over Oakdale and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Midway has some work to do to even out the 1-9 series between these two since May of 2022, but a win here would be a good start.
