Crismon's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.5 runs on average over those games. As for Combs, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-7-1.
Wednesday's game might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Combs has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .434. However, it's not like Crismon struggles in that department as they've averaged .532. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
