After a string of eight wins, the South Sevier Rams's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They fell 41-33 to Beaver. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points South Sevier has scored all season.
Several Rams players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Sydnee Patterson, who scored ten points along with five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Caitlin Nielson, who scored six points along with 11 rebounds and five steals.
South Sevier's loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-2. As for Beaver, they pushed their record up to 13-2 with that win, which was their sixth straight at home.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. South Sevier will take on Parowan at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Parowan has now lost nine straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 9. As for Beaver, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Enterprise at 7:00 p.m. Enterprise will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Utah Rankings (they are ranked 73rd, while Beaver is ranked 19th).
