There's no place like home for Halifax County, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They walked away with a 4-1 win over the Magna Vista Warriors on Wednesday. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 6-2 win on April 1st.

Halifax County is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.4 runs over those games. As for Magna Vista, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-9.

Looking ahead, Halifax County is taking a road trip to challenge Chatham at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Magna Vista, they will square off against Bassett at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
