They really took it to Douglas County for the full four quarters, racking up a 60-19 victory at home. Rock Canyon has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 20 points or more this season.
Brooke Harding was her usual excellent self, scoring 24 points along with six rebounds and five steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Alyssa Goode, who scored ten points along with five assists and five steals.
Rock Canyon's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-1. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.0 points per game. As for Douglas County, their loss dropped their record down to 9-6.
Rock Canyon will head out on the road to face off against Regis Jesuit at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Regis Jesuit has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Douglas County, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against ThunderRidge at 7:00 p.m. ThunderRidge is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.
