The St. Helena Saints will head out on the road to take on the Fort Bragg Timberwolves at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. St. Helena will be looking to extend their current 14-game winning streak.
On Tuesday, St. Helena got the win against Middletown by a conclusive 13-3. The result was nothing new for the Saints, who have now won 16 matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Ada Blanton made a splash while hitting and pitching. She struck out seven batters over six innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off three hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-4 with two runs and one double.
In other batting news, St. Helena got a big performance out of Lillian Grimes, who went 2-for-3 with three runs and one stolen base. Grimes has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played. Malia Lund was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.
St. Helena kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Middletown only managed four hits.
Fort Bragg couldn't beat Cloverdale on Tuesday even though they stacked four runs on them in the fourth inning. The Timberwolves came up short against the Eagles, falling 14-4. The defeat continues a trend for the Timberwolves in their meetings with the Eagles: they've now lost four in a row.
Fort Bragg saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hailey Ross, who went 1-for-3 with one run and one double.
St. Helena pushed their record up to 18-4 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Fort Bragg, their loss dropped their record down to 6-10.
Friday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. St. Helena hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .373. However, it's not like Fort Bragg struggles in that department as they've averaged .338. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Everything went St. Helena's way against Fort Bragg in their previous meeting back in April, as St. Helena made off with an 8-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Saints since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
