Grady Slesk put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in May of 2024 on Wednesday. He struck out eight batters over six innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off five hits (and only one walk). He also tossed a walk, which is notable because Lone Peak is 4-1 when he allows at most one walk, but 4-9 otherwise.

Slesk's effort led Lone Peak over Lehi and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
