South Choctaw Academy had no answer to Mize as he went a perfect 5-for-5 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one triple. Mize has become a key player for Patrician Academy: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 0-5 otherwise.

Mize and Patrician Academy will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Southern Academy at 4:00 p.m. on March 22nd. Patrician Academy will be headed into this one with a sizable disadvantage in the rankings (they're ranked 105 places lower in Alabama), but they're not letting that get them down.
