Chicopee hadn't done well against Ludlow recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. The Pacers blew past the Lions 17-11. Considering the Pacers have won six contests by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory got Chicopee back to even at 6-6. As for Ludlow, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-10.

Coincidentally, Chicopee and Ludlow will both be playing Belchertown the next time they take the field. The Lions will head out to face the Orioles at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Pacers will host them at 11:00 a.m. on Monday.
