After losing to the Capital Prep Trailblazers the last time they met, the Parish Hill Pirates decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Parish Hill secured a 35-31 W over Capital Prep on Wednesday.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Parish Hill to victory, but perhaps none more so than Gracie Pearl, who scored ten points along with five rebounds and four steals. Another player making a difference was Hannah Becker, who scored six points along with nine rebounds and four blocks.
Parish Hill's win bumped their record up to 7-11. As for Capital Prep, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-7.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Weaver the next time they take the court. Parish Hill will head out to face Weaver at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, while Capital Prep will host them at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
