The Dunmore Bucks will look to defend their home field on Friday against the Southern Columbia Area Tigers at 7:00 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Dunmore comes in on nine and Southern Columbia Area on six.
Dunmore extended their postseason success on Friday against Camp Hill. They enjoyed a cozy 41-25 win over the Lions. 41 seems to be a good number for Dunmore as the team scooped up a victory with the same number of points in their previous game.
Meanwhile, Southern Columbia Area has more to be thankful for after their game against Bald Eagle Area on Friday. Southern Columbia Area walked away with a 18-8 win over Bald Eagle Area.
It was another big night for Louden Murphy, who rushed for 142 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 carries. Murphy was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 69 yards. The team also got some help courtesy of Garrett Garcia, who rushed for 89 yards and a touchdown.
Dunmore has yet to lose a game at home this season, leaving them with a 12-2 record. As for Southern Columbia Area, their win bumped their record up to 13-1.
Dunmore was dealt a bruising 56-19 loss at the hands of Southern Columbia Area in their previous meeting back in December of 2017. Thankfully for Dunmore, Gaige Garcia (who rushed for 236 yards and four touchdowns on only 14 carries) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
