Northwest had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Seckman on Thursday. The Lions were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Jaguars. For the Lions, this counts as revenge for the 3-2 victory the Jaguars walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

Northwest walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the second set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-8, 25-18.

Northwest's victory bumped their record up to 15-12-1. As for Seckman, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 14 of their last 16 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-19 record this season.

Northwest will head out on the road to challenge Webster Groves at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Seckman, they will square off against Bayless at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
