Two dominant guards in Ashlin Jacobsen and Paige Kjerstad are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Freeman Flyers's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Wall Eagles at 5:30 p.m. on February 9th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in South Dakota (Freeman is ranked 40th, while Wall is ranked 26th).
On Tuesday, Freeman came up short against Hanson and fell 58-47.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Rylee Peters, who scored 17 points along with five rebounds and two blocks. Another player making a difference was Cami Fransen, who scored six points along with seven rebounds and five assists.
In what's become a running theme this season, Wall gave their fans yet another huge victory on Monday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Newell 83-43 on the road. Wall's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Freeman's loss ended a eight-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-4. As for Wall, they pushed their record up to 13-3 with that victory, which was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season.
