The Panorama Pythons's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their third straight loss. They fell 65-54 to San Fernando. Panorama lost against San Fernando in their previous head to head back in January, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 58-35 score last time.
Panorama's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Alan Rodriguez , who scored 16 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. Those 16 points set a new season-high mark for him. The team also got some help courtesy of Raphael Latorre, who scored 16 points.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead San Fernando to victory, but perhaps none more so than Isaiah Cabrera, who scored 17 points. Cabrera continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Victor Marin was another key contributor, scoring 16 points.
Panorama's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for San Fernando, their victory bumped their record up to 3-8.
Panorama won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Canoga Park at 4:30 p.m. on December 15th. San Fernando will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Malibu at 6:30 p.m. on January 2, 2024.
