Meanwhile, Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Memorial's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fifth straight loss. They took a 51-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of Pioneer.
Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Southwest dropped their record down to 2-21 with that defeat, which was their sixth straight at home. As for Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Memorial, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost 13 of their last 15 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 12-18 record this season.
