Overton came tearing into  Tuesday's  matchup with seven straight wins  (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 13.6 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with  a   10-6  win over the McGavock Raiders. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won  16-4  last Monday.
 Kaliyha Finley-Gray made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out nine batters over  seven innings while giving up  six earned runs off   seven  hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't  tossed less than five  strikeouts in eight consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box,  going 2-for-4 with one  RBI.
 In other batting news,  Ella Meacham and  Jailyn Norman did most of the damage at the plate:  Meacham  got on base  in three of her five plate appearances with two  runs, one  stolen base,  and one  RBI, while  Norman  got on base  in four of her five plate appearances with two  runs and one  RBI. Another player making a difference was  Hana Kajihara, who  went 1-for-4 with one  stolen base and one  RBI.
 Overton  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .548. They are  a perfect 11-0 when  they post an OBP of .513 or better.
Overton pushed their record up to 11-4 with the  victory, which was their fifth straight  on the road. The  road  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 14.8 runs over those games.
