North Union fell to Marcus-Meriden-Cleghorn/Remsen-Union 0-8 the last time the two teams met; this time around, they exacted some revenge. North Union made easy work of Marcus-Meriden-Cleghorn/Remsen-Union on Friday and carried off a 42-21 win. North Union were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
The victory bumped North Union's record up to 1-2. Marcus-Meriden-Cleghorn/Remsen-Union are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-3.
North Union will look to defend their home turf next week against Lake Mills at 7:00 PM. As for Marcus-Meriden-Cleghorn/Remsen-Union, they will face off against Okoboji.
