Weston Wells added two as well as
Frazier Mountain (Lebec, Calif.) beat Albert Einstein Academy (Santa Clarita, Calif.) 82-22 on Saturday.
After taking the lead on a Wells touchdown run in the first quarter, the Falcons were up 70-14 at the half.
Frazier Mountain expanded its lead to 62 points entering the fourth quarter. FM scored once in the quarter on a touchdown run by
Thomas Neirhoff.
40 points in the first quarter helped the Lebec school lead 40-8 after one on the way to a win.
Neirhoff stood out for the Falcons in the win. The senior quarterback threw two touchdowns.
The victory was a step in the right direction for Frazier Mountain, which was coming off a 27-22 defeat at the hands of Ribet Academy in its previous game.
Frazier Mountain (1-1) will play a non-conference game against Grace Brethren next week, while Albert Einstein Academy (0-1) will take on Indian Springs also in a non-conference game.
