Josette Aparicio was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out nine batters over five innings while giving up four earned runs off seven hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than nine strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring a run while getting on base in all five of her plate appearances. She also put up a double, which was her first of the season.
