After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Newton, South Gwinnett was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They claimed a resounding 45-5 victory over Cristo Rey Atlanta. The Comets have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matchups by 33 points or more this season.

South Gwinnett's win bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Cristo Rey Atlanta, they dropped their record down to 0-5 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.
