Regis took a ten-run loss the last time they faced off against Monroe, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Rams came out on top in a nail-biter against the Dragons on Monday, sneaking past 5-4. The win was some much needed relief for the Rams as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Regis' victory bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Monroe, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 5-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Regis will face off against rival Central Linn at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Monroe is set to challenge their familiar foe Culver at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
