In what's become a running theme this season, Asheboro Hybrid Academy gave their fans yet another huge victory on Tuesday. They breezed by Varsity Opponent on the road to the tune of 61-33.
Meanwhile, even though Varsity Opponent scored an imposing 62 points on Wednesday, Community Baptist still came out on top. Community Baptist escaped with a win against Varsity Opponent by the margin of a single free throw, 63-62. The victory was just what Community Baptist needed coming off of a 69-29 loss in their prior match.
Asheboro Hybrid Academy's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-8. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.0 points per game. As for Community Baptist, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 6-17 record this season.
