The Walkertown Wolfpack were the 44-39 winner over the North Forsyth Vikings when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. Walkertown fell 36-23 to North Forsyth on Monday. Walkertown has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
North Forsyth's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jylyia Mizell, who scored 24 points along with 4 steals. That makes it two consecutive games in which Mizell has scored at least 25% of North Forsyth's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ariel Odugba, who scored 8 points along with 8 steals.
Walkertown's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for North Forsyth, the win got them back to even at 1-1.
Walkertown will be playing at home against Ragsdale at 6:00 p.m. on November 28th. As for North Forsyth, they will take on Lexington at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday.
