Esparto was led to victory by Armando "AJ" Campos and Antonio Seastrunk jr. Campos rushed for 146 yards and three touchdowns on only nine carries, while Seastrunk jr rushed for 232 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 8.3 yards per carry.
Vacaville Christian are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7. As for Esparto, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-6.
Vacaville Christian will face off against Highlands at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Esparto, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Golden Sierra at 7:00 p.m. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in California (Golden Sierra is ranked 971st, while Esparto is ranked 958th).
