Giovanna Gottfried turned in yet another pitching appearance with fewer than three walks surrendered on Friday. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out ten over five innings pitched. She was dominant the last time she took on Bishop McNamara back in March of 2024, so they probably should've seen this coming. With that strong performance, Gottfried is now averaging an impressive 5.2 strikeouts per game.
