The Drew Dragons's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fourth straight loss. The game between Drew and International wasn't particularly close, with Drew falling 59-41. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Drew in their matchups with International: they've now lost four in a row.
Drew lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Teo Kimball-Directo, who scored 16 points along with six rebounds. That was a full 39% of Drew's points, marking the seventh time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Gianni Obregon, who scored six points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Drew's loss dropped their record down to 11-11. As for International, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 15-5.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Drew will take on Rise University Prep at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Rise University Prep is out to stop a three-game streak of losses at home. As for International, they will head out on the road to challenge San Francisco Waldorf at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. San Francisco Waldorf will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
