After losing to the Ledyard Colonels the last time they met, the East Lyme Vikings decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. East Lyme strolled past Ledyard with  points to spare on Thursday, taking the game  54-39. The  win made it back-to-back wins for East Lyme.
 Leading East Lyme to victory were  Michael  Timpano and  Jaylen Hannans.  Timpano  scored 17 points, while  Hannans  scored 19 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which  Timpano has scored at least 25% of East Lyme's points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Brendan Osso, who  scored six points along with six  rebounds.
 East Lyme now  has a winning record of 2-1. As for Ledyard, they now  have a losing record at 1-2.
 East Lyme is on the road again  on Wednesday and play against Montville at 4:00  p.m.  on December 27th. Montville comes in still looking for their first win of the season. Ledyard will wrap up 2023 with a road trip to face off against Fitch at 4:00  p.m.  on Wednesday.
