Meanwhile, Mission Oak fell victim to San Luis Obispo and their airtight defense on Friday. They came up short against the Tigers, falling 21-0. Having soared to a lofty 31 points in the game before, the Hawks' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.
The win got Golden West back to even at 1-1. As for Mission Oak, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 1-1.
