The Logan-Rogersville Wildcats were the 63-38 winner over the Summit Christian Academy Eagles when they last played one another back in December of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Logan-Rogersville took a 54-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of Summit Christian Academy.
Summit Christian Academy's win on Friday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Mike Thomas iii, who scored 15 points along with 7 blocks and 5 rebounds. That makes it two consecutive games in which Thomas iii has scored at least 25% of Summit Christian Academy's points. Another player making a difference was Carter Jeffries, who scored 12 points.
Logan-Rogersville's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Summit Christian Academy, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Logan-Rogersville will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Branson at 7:15 p.m. on December 12th. As for Summit Christian Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Kauffman at 8:00 p.m.
