The Palisade Bulldogs fell victim to the Durango Demons''s stalwart defense on Friday and couldn't make it onto the board. They received a tough blow as they fell 19-0 to the Demons. Palisade's defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.
It was another big night for Jaxon Fancher, who rushed for 107 yards and a touchdown. Dylan Burns did his part by putting the 'special' in special teams, booting in four field goals.
Palisade's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Durango, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which bumped their overall record up to 8-1.
Palisade will take on Glenwood Springs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Colorado (Glenwood Springs is ranked 90th, while Palisade is ranked 89th). Durango does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
